lectures

Societies hold regular monthly lectures, usually 10 times a year, on a very wide range of subjects. Lecturers are of the highest standard and come from the most prestigious arts and educational organisations across the country. Lecturers go through a stringent selection process before being added to the National Arts Society Directory. Currently there are nearly 300 lecturers in the Directory.

Lectures usually last one hour and are illustrated with high quality images, mostly using digital equipment. Each society chooses their own lectures, and Wessex Programme Secretaries meet annually to discuss past and future lectures
